A time to run among our many dreams

To climb or fall from fancies in our flight

While hand in hand we, skipping through the night

Pull stitches from the darkened dew dropped seams

Then on our own, we doing all the same

Unveiling beauty anywhere it’s found

While flying free with feet still on the ground

To live the steady burn of passion’s flame

And when all’s done the cup will be half full

The bounty of our love rewards us well

We’ll find our earthly heaven over hell

As long as we remember this one rule

Unbiased rays the sun casts down its light

No need to steal the spot when all is bright

(a piece found from my junior year in college ’91)
